I Hate Cardio!

This really kept me wondering.

They are no doubt a lot of us who wants to lose weight. Whenever I talk to these people, there’s a similiar pattern is our conversation and it always, always involes cardio training. Most of us have the perception that cardio training is the key to healthy weight loss.

Yes, cardio training is the key.

But it’s only ONE of the many keys.

There are other ways you can do if you don’t feel comfortable doing cardio training.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against cardio training. My point is there are more than you can do besides cardio!

So, what else can you do besides cardio (just in case you don’t like it)?

Weight training.

Perhaps, you already know that weight training can be an effective way to burn calories. In fact, in many aspects, it is even better than cardio.

Do you know that?

Weight training has to do a lot with the way your muscle tissues works. These tissues are your main fat burning furnace!

They consume a lot of calories even if they’re not being worked out. The fact is, muscle tissues simply needs a lot of calories to sustain itself.

What happens when you’re working them out?

The time that these muscle tissues burns the most calories are the 2 hours after a rigorous weight lifting session. They’re hungry. They’re seeking nutrients to feed them and they burn a lot of calories and fat, a lot!.

But even when you’re resting, just by having more muscles you’re using up calories at a more rapid pace.

Now, this important.

The key to doing the most effective weight training workouts is to avoid focusing on a single muscle group. Simple it might seem, but a lot of people often overlooked this important fact.

You cannot be putting too much strain on one muscle group and not working out the others at all. What you need to do is work every muscle group in your body evenly. The best types of exercises are those which involve many joints in the movement.

You can do squats, lunges, deadlifts, shoulder presses, and tricep curls. Of course, there are more.

Lastly, if you dislike cardio (for some reasons!) and wish to do the bare minimum of it to keep yourself healthy, then weight training is a great way to burn fat.

It works!
